The evening, hour by hour
Vans run from 14:00 to 15:15, again depending on your area, and again included. You board at four, at Petcharat Marina or Hansar Samui Resort, the crew run through the briefing, and the boat is off the dock while the light is still hard and white.
The first hour is the cruise. Beanbags on the roof deck, sunset snacks, something cold, and the day beginning to soften. Nobody is in a hurry and nothing is scheduled.
Around half past five we ease to a stop in the calm open water off Bang Po, on the island's quiet north-west coast. This is the swim stop, and it is the reason this trip heads to the north-west coast — the water is flat, the light is coming straight down the channel at you, and you can float in it while it happens.
Chef's light evening bites come out on deck as the colour goes, and then a smooth run home with the lights of Samui coming up ahead. Back around half past seven.
Why Bang Po, and why a wooden boat
Koh Samui's sun sets over the water to the west, and the quiet bay off Bang Po on the north-west coast puts you right in front of it, away from the busier beaches of the east.
A traditional Thai teak cruiser is a slow boat, and a slow boat is the right instrument for this. There is no rushing to a viewpoint before the light goes; you are simply already in it. The roof deck is flat and built for lying on, and the hull is heavy enough that the swim stop is genuinely calm.

Sunset snacks and soft drinks from the moment you board, then chef's light evening bites on deck at sunset. This is a cruise with proper food, not a dinner cruise — if you are planning dinner afterwards, you will still want it.
Lifejackets are provided, there is live music or a curated playlist depending on the night, and the crew are the same people who run the day trips. Bring a light jacket: once the sun is down, the breeze off the water has an opinion.

Truly one of the best boat tours we've been on as a family. Misha and his crew were so welcoming, and we were very lucky to have the whole boat to ourselves. It felt like a private charter around Koh Samui to coral bay and then silver beach. For a brief moment we were caught in a rain storm, which was very atmospheric and in our view was part of the experience. It lasted only 20 minutes and the rest of the time it was sunny, we went snorkelling and had lunch at a nice cafe in one of the bays. Honestly, we couldn't recommend this tour anymore - don't hesitate just book it!
BEST BOAT TRIP in Koh Samui. I would highly recommend this boat trip for a day out it's amazing they help organise a shuttle from your hotel to the boat and back which was super efficient and on time! 2 days before we were asked for our meal choices and they didn't disappoint they have all the lunch freshly prepared on the day so it's super tasty! The Crew were so amazing and helpful and super polite I was lucky enough to met the owner he is very knowledgeable and a cracking guy we would do it again! Thank you very much to all the team we loved it!!
We had a wonderful and unforgettable boat trip with Endless Summer Tours and can highly recommend it! The trip took us to the other side of the island, allowing us to discover Koh Samui from a completely different perspective. Along the way, we enjoyed a lovely lunch stop, and of course, a swimming stop in a stunning bay was a must. This was a particular highlight for the children: snorkeling, swimming, and jumping into the sea from the roof of the boat – simply fantastic! The beautiful front deck is also perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, and enjoying the view. The crew was very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. From the initial pick-up at our holiday home through the entire boat trip and lunch, right up to the return journey, we were exceptionally well looked after. We could simply sit back and enjoy the day. For us, it was a truly wonderful and unforgettable day for the whole family. Many thanks to the entire team for this amazing experience! Highly recommended – we would do the tour again in a heartbeat!
